Instructions for authors

Thank you for your interest in submitting your work to NorSoTL.

To help your scholarly work move smoothly through peer review, production, and publication, please read and follow the instructions below as closely as possible. This will ensure your paper meets our journal’s requirements.

NorSoTL is dedicated to providing a recognized, level-1 quality publication outlet for higher-education instructors in Norway who engage in the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL). Our mission is to strengthen collaborations between institutional units supporting SoTL across Norwegian higher-education institutions and to foster vibrant communities of SoTL practice within and beyond these institutions.

The journal is hosted by two research groups: “Teaching and Learning in Higher Education” (TeLEd) at the University of Bergen (UiB), and “Forskergruppen Universitetspedagogikk” at the Western Norway University of Applied Sciences (HVL).

We invite colleagues in higher education and students from all disciplines and backgrounds who are active in SoTL (and similar approaches) to contribute to NorSoTL.

Publication Frequency

NorSoTL publishes articles on a rolling basis. Once your submission has successfully completed the review and copy-editing process, it will be published online.

No Publication Fees

NorSoTL does not charge any fees for manuscript submissions or accepted publications.
